چکیده
Ionizable Lipid Nanoparticles nanoparticle (LNP) systems are currently the leading nonviral delivery for enabling clinical potential of mRNA drugs. lipid is critical component nanoparticles. In article 2202590 by Gengshen Song, Jing Yang, Shengqi Wang, and co-workers, a novel ionizable YK009 designed developed LNP formulation. The YK009-LNP shows high efficacy good safety. An vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant delivered can trigger robust immune response this viral infection.

Lipid Nanoparticles for Ocular Gene Delivery
Lipids contain hydrocarbons and are the building blocks of cells. Lipids can naturally form themselves into nano-films and nano-structures, micelles, reverse micelles, and liposomes. Micelles or reverse micelles are monolayer structures, whereas liposomes are bilayer structures. Liposomes have been recognized as carriers for drug delivery. Solid lipid nanoparticles and lipoplex (liposome-polyca...
متن کاملLipid nanoparticles for dermal drug delivery.
Lipid based drug delivery systems have been widely studied and reported over the past decade and offer a useful alternative to other colloidal drug delivery systems. Skin is a popular route of drug delivery for locally and systemically acting drugs and nanoparticles are reported as a potential formulation strategy for dermal delivery. Although the skin acts as a natural physical barrier against...
متن کاملLipid nanoparticles for short interfering RNA delivery.
The discovery of RNA interference (RNAi) in mammalian cells has created a new class of therapeutics based on the reversible silencing of specific disease-causing genes. This therapeutic potential depends on the ability to deliver inducers of RNAi, such as short-interfering RNA (siRNA) and micro-RNA (miRNA), to cells of target tissues. This chapter reviews various challenges and delivery strateg...
متن کاملAdvances in Lipid Nanoparticles for siRNA Delivery
Technological advances in both siRNA (small interfering RNA) and whole genome sequencing have demonstrated great potential in translating genetic information into siRNA-based drugs to halt the synthesis of most disease-causing proteins. Despite its powerful promises as a drug, siRNA requires a sophisticated delivery vehicle because of its rapid degradation in the circulation, inefficient accumu...
